ok, slow down, Hoss

With apologies, I'm not going to be at 57th Street Art Fair in Hyde Park, Chicago, this weekend.

Two reasons for this:
  • Auto problems.  Adding the drive time makes me a bit squeamish.  (I'm having it looked at/worked on next week in Pittsburgh, during the Three Rivers Arts Festival.)
  • Work time - I really need to make more work.  There's some projects, just small ones, that I need to get to.  My Pittsburgh crowd expects them.

ready, set, go.

I remain very busy - the last two shows were good, and I have two more to go during the next two weekends.  There's a bit of that "ready, set, create!" feeling, which is it's own odd balance of pros and cons.

Thanks to all for your patience during this time, I feel like I'm running slightly slow.  Or, I'm catching up to myself.  Or, time is bending, and my memories are actually memories of times past, and what is current is not yet remembered.  Something like that.

many upcoming shows!

We're in the studio, working working working...  a number of shows are coming up.  Thursday we'll leave for Dallas and the Artfest, we'll stay a few days, then a new show (for me) in Kansas City, known as Prairie Village.    Lots of orders are happening, too - I need to make a page for commissions, as there's always lots of them going out.

errr, pardon the dust here...

I've been creating work for shows, and my off-time (so-to-speak, anyway) has involved gardening and house maintenance.  This is not a complaint, as I get an extraordinary amount of satisfaction from both.

not a poem.

While it seems there's many things to catch you, John and Jane Q. Public, up on, for the sake of my own personal sanity, I'll just make a mention of the most important time: now.
