I'm here in State College, PA, while at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts - ending day two of the four day show. So far, it's been good. The town that I'm seeing seems beautiful, bucolic, a great place to be. Currently it's also teeming with partying college students, which I don't quite have the energy for. I've talked to an immense number of people today, and had a ball... there's just not a lot left of Matthew's brain this evening.
I have a lot of work that isn't up on the site right now -- there just hasn't been time. I worked as much as I could to have a nice group of work for this show; and then drove thirteen hours non-stop getting here. New work on the site will have to wait a bit. You might just have to come see me in PA!
I tend to get excited about working while at shows. I get time to just sit and look at the completed work; and I have a lot of conversations about the work. Both of those just tend to lead naturally to where the work can and should go. It's exciting stuff.
