Visitor #2 was made in 2004, in the mobile jewelry studio. I was staying at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, in northern Florida. I also made Visitor #1 (It appears #1 escaped without any revealing photographs.).
Visitor #2 is many things. I usually refer to him as the "Space Tortuga".
He is quite happy on his own. He can view much from his tall pedestal (which is also why he is called "The Scout"). His base sits in two different configurations.
If you wish to carry him around upon your jacket, the bottom portion of the base combines with him magnetically to create quite a dandy brooch.
